Store Policy

Processing time

As everything is handmade and store in my different studio, please allow from 1 to 10 business days for your order to ship. Contact us before placing your order if you have any urgent requests. Please be aware that as we get closer to the holiday season, our processing time may vary due to the high volume of orders.


All prices are listed in US Dollars. Prices listed on the page and in the shopping cart do not include taxes or shipping.

Taxes & customs fees

Taxes will be calculated at check-out based on your shipping address.
International customers are responsible for any customs/duties / taxes at delivery of the package. Customs policies vary from country to country. Please consult your country’s customs office for an accurate estimate.


We ship from Taiwan, London, via DHL depending on the location of the earrings. Please select your preferred shipment method at check out. Options vary from 10$ to 90$ depending on your location, selected shipping times, and tracking options. Note that in all cases, we do not offer refunds for delayed shipments as we have no control over delays caused by express services and customs. That being said, we will attempt to accommodate you in case of any problems.

Payment methods

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Paypal). All transactions made on are secure and encrypted, and we never store your credit card information. 

Changes & cancellation

Should you want to make any changes or cancel your order, please contact us immediately. If your order has shipped already, you might have to pay additional shipping charges. 

Damages & defects

We go to great lengths to ensure that your order arrives intact. Please inspect your package immediately upon arrival, and contact us with descriptive pictures if anything has been damaged during shipping; we will arrange for repair or replacement. 
In the rare case of defects in the jewelry, we reserve the right to evaluate if the defect is a result of our production process. If this is the case, we will be happy to repair or replace the item at no extra cost. However, if we judge the defect as a result of accident, abuse, neglect, or wear from normal use, we can evaluate repair options together when possible.

Returns & exchanges 

Jewelry bought on our online store may not be returned, except in the case of damages or defects as noted above. We exceptionally accept exchanges when an item has never been worn and if the client covers any additional shipping charges.

Privacy policy

We hate spam as much as you do, and will never share your information. Subscription to our newsletter is not automatic. To receive news from This Hopedesignlab (once a month or less), you must sign up. Our newsletter only contains relevant information such as important news, special events, and sales. Only good stuff, we promise!
